Claire Arksey, Chief Operating Officer, Vue International

17 May 2022, London; Vue International, the largest privately held cinema operator in Europe, is pleased to announce the appointment of Claire Arksey as Chief Operating Officer.

Claire joins Vue from Urban Outfitters where she was responsible for its portfolio of 269 standalone stores across 14 countries. Prior to this, she held senior operational roles at Superdry, Reiss and Ted Baker, overseeing operations and retail.

In her role as COO at Vue, Claire will report into Steve Knibbs, Group Managing Director (MD) and Deputy CEO of Vue International, and play a key role in ensuring Vue further strengthens its best in class cinematic experience across seat, screen and sound through investment and innovation across its estate. Claire will be responsible for Operational Standards, Procurement and Retail, and will be the reporting line for Vue’s International Territory General Managers across UK, Ireland, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Ithe Netherlands, Denmark, Italy and Taiwan.

Claire Arksey will join on 4 July and will report into Vue International’s Group Managing Director and Deputy CEO, Steve Knibbs. She will join Vue’s existing senior leadership team: Dee Vassili, Chief People Officer; Euan Sutton, Legal Counsel; Geoff Moore, Chief Investment and Property Officer, and Roland Jones, Chief Information and Technology Officer. The team is led by Tim Richards, CEO and founder, Alison Cornwell, CFO, and Steve Knibbs, Group MD and Deputy CEO.
